Summers here thats why we are getting floods...is it global warming? what do you think? Is it poor planning? Did you know that we have known about the casues of flooding in the Uk 5o years ago and no action has been taken.. Increasing urbanisation and pressure to build houses on low lying former agricultural land have all contributed to the sad losses we have seen this week. But our Governments and local authorities have known this for decades and took no action...our decaying victorian drains and sewer system cant cope with the copious amounts of water we waste every day when persistent rain with nowhere to go adds to the problem..
