Did any of you happen to see the episode last night on NBC? The episode ending their trip to the New York City auditions?
To be honest, I've never been a fan of this show until I got bored last night and started watching the show. It's one of the only shows I've seen that's actually fair to those people who don't fit into society's view of "normal". People who are completely out of the box still are getting sent to Vega, which is really awesome.
Anyways, back onto the topic. The Glamazons. And if you don't know them from their formal name, it happens to be those plus-sized women as the last act on yesterday's two-hour special. It really was empowering. To see women who *aren't* sticks actually GETTING somewhere.
I know I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the performances of the Glamazons. They really have a great act. It was a pity that they didn't make it to the final four. They are inspiring women whose talents go beyond those of any who have performed on AGT.

I completely agree. I wish the Glamazons would have gone farther in the competition than they did. I would have loved to see them finish and win the competition.
Although, they do plan on releasing a CD soon, which will rock and I'll definitely have to pick it up.

I saw it and loved those girls, I thought they were beautiful, sexy and talented and they got a great response. Yes, very empowering! I'd love it if they won.

I happen to agree with you. I'm really hoping those women will win, because they're the only reason I'm going to continue and watch the rest of the season. It's so awesome to see someone who's obviously not the "norm" go through to the next round with such ...well...happiness!
I'm really hoping they make it really far, or, at least, somewhere in the competition. They already have fame, though, if you want to search them on YouTube - they've performed other places before, so although this will boost their fame, I think they already have the fame required to find other shows to play to get them some money for being the awesome, confident women they are!

I had no idea they'd preformed before, I'm so glad you mentioned it. I remember someone saying something about a group of girls like the pussycat dolls but with meat on their bones, I bet this is who they were talking about. I hope they go all the way. The little girl who won this show last year made a cd so who knows?

I agre, they were very charismatic. They were very pretty, and their size didn't matter. It was nice to see David Hasselhoff actually kind of flirt with them. I was surprised even more that Pierce liked them.
