Do you confide more to your friends or your family members?

Hi Friends , do you share your problems or secrets or other issues more with your friends than your brothers, sisters or parents?
For me, I tend to tell my matters more to my close friends. Sometimes there are issues which I keep to myself and share with my friends. I don't want my partner to be worried. But if I think she needs to know, I will share with her.

I am very frank and honest person who is quite open about one's feelings so there' not much to confide or to have to sahre any secrets. But if i want to discuss any issue or share my thoughts that i feel are imp. then i will do it with my family esp. my mother as she understands me and give good advice. It works for me.

Yes i do. I keep telling what i feel to my close friend as it helps me to overcome any depression or anything bothering me all the time. Sometimes i also do confide with my mom on those things i know that she will understand me, but mostly i confide with my friend.

Hello 1qazxsw2,
I prefer to keep most of my problem to myself but if I have no choice and need to tell someone, I will choose my two best friends. They know most of my personal matters rather than my family. I am quite a secretive person in a real life. I don't like to reveal or to talk too much about myself to my friends and family. But to my surprise, I tend to tell all in My Lot. I guess I have the feeling that people don't know me personally here that I can talk to them without feeling 'guilty' of revealing too much about myself *smile*

It depends on what I'm confiding. If it's something that will hurt or worry my husband, I generally go to my friends. That way I have a sounding board from someone who doesn't have to live with me. They can be more objective. Although, I do confide in my husband quite a bit. He is the only person who has ever loved me unconditionally. I come up with some crazy thoughts and ideas, spit them out before I realize it, and it never really bothers him.
