Do you exercise?

Morning, afternoon or evening? What kind of exercise do you do? Is it for fitness, stress relief or because you should? Do you have an exercise partner? I exercise in the evening, after it cools off. I would love to switch to mornings, but I don't get much sleep at night with a newborn. I exercise because it's healthy and I should, a bonus is stress relief. Got to love those endorphins! I have two exercise partners. My son and daughter both go with me when I go for my evening walk. So what do you do?

Ok i myt soudn like a tottal a$$ but walks dont go as exercises at leat in my opinion wheal i usualy work out very day and 4-5 times a week whit training partners i workout so i can become stonger, faster and more skilld but since i got my self a summer job can only do 4-5 a week and about 3-4 times whit parners its generally a good idea to exercise for people how dont do any sports because the human body was made for tougher things than sitin al day long and if you keep it comfortabel it will do you more harm than good its like this:your body is a cruel mistres it reward every comfort whit pain later on.

Well right now that IS exercise for me. I just had a baby c section a few weeks ago and cannot do anymore than that right now. And if you walk for MILES (like I could before baby) then that is exercise....

Working abroad don't give me much time to go to a gym. But because I want to stay fit I just use video exercise which I bought when I was in the Philippines. Its Working Out With Jackie Lou Blanco and its my partner doing the exercise. Its cool! It consist of Warm ups, The main workout and the Cool down. In less than 1 hour I have a complete exercise (,")

Nice to work abroad but a lot of sacrifices. I have to be fit my dear because I'm so far from home. By the way I bought another video exercise and its called Salsaxice because the steps are from the salsa dance and you can burn 500 calories in that few steps.

HA! Good luck hon. At some point that will happen, but its not easy to even WANT to exercise. Sleep deprivation and having a little being attached to you all the time... lol.. its fun, but dang if it is easy to get the exercise in. I do admire you for even stretching being preggo. I was always too tired this time around to do anything. Now with my first, I walked around Walmart EVERY day. And ours is huge. I had to do that because of winter months.... Sucky thing about living in the snow belt.

I like to exercise in the morning and early evenings as well. I like going to the gym and working the machines and doing the classes. I also like walking alot it is a very good cardio exercise and easy to do and inexpensive. I like to walk by myself most of the time gives me time to think but i do like walking with company sometimes to someone to talk to.

I don't actually exercise per se. I don't go out to jog or run or do some other stuff like. Every day i walk for about fifteen minutes to the train and when i get back i walk another 15 minutes back home. This is just minimum amount of walking i do per day. So I just figured this would be enough exercise for me. besides, there are a lot of slopes up and down in both directions.

As long as it is good for you. I personally know that what I'm doing isn't enough for me, but for the next few weeks, until doc clears me for more intense exercise, its what I'm doing to keep healthy!

I exercise but not arobics or anything. I play baseball and mainly, the only reason that I do exercise is to excel in baseball. I run to increase my endurance and to stay in shape. I lift about three times a week when I can, taking it easy on game days. I dont really have any exercise partners unless you count my teammates. But I have found that whatever you are doing is a thousand times easier if you arent doing it alone. I dont really know why. It could be the support of your partner or just the will to compete and do better or do more than they can.

I love baseball. I miss playing it. I used to all the time as a kid. I can understand about training for sports. It's still exercise though.

I exercise, usually in the morning. Right now, I go to a gym that is really nice and I exercise there. I do the ellipticals and the bikes. I also weight train. I have a hard time going later than early afternoon, especially after work. I usually get real tired.

I love going to the gym. Before I had kids I would spend like 3 hours at the local Y. It was a blast. I miss those days. Pretty strong argument for birth control!

I can't walk for an hour. Not even when I'm healed. Kids weigh me down quite a bit, but I'm teaching them valuable lessons in exercise, so its worth it.

I exercise a lot I consider my job to be good exercise because at least two to three hours a day I have to go out and do carts which I can push up to 7 to 8 carts at a time and I think thats great exercise because your doing a lot of walking when your doing and your building strenth because its pretty hard to push a lot of carts at once and I do get very tired by doing it.

I do Yoga every morning for 45 minutes. Have 4 audio tapes each with different poses. You need to join a Yoga club to begin , or you can find Lots of Yoga on the TV. I have about 6 vcr tapes of yoga that i taped from the TV. Yoga will change your life. Walking is also good exercise!

I have pilates. Not sure what the difference is, but its close enough to government work for me... I will be doing those as soon as I'm physically able. I need to lose alot of weight before I can even attempt them. lol... I love FitTV myself. I always did the meditation, and a few others I can't name offhand, but could tell you if I saw them on a program line up.

Oh, everyone can make the time to exercise during the week. Its hard, but unless you are one to be on the go all the time, then you prolly have 1/2 an hour everyday during the week that you can get it in. Just my 2 cents...

yeah, that is a positive with having friends along. I like that for swimming, because of races and stuff, but biking I like to do myself. I find I can go further that when with someone.

I usually exercise after work, by myself... It's great for stress, and I'm also planning to run a 5k in Sept so I'm getting ready for that. I do a lot of cardio, abs and arm workouts!

Have you done the couch to 5k program? I hear that is an excellent training program for it.

There is no time fixed for me to go for my exercise. I go when ever I get time, but recently i had given a huge break in between and was not able to go for several days together. And now i'm catching up with my fitness.

I exercise sometimes.I do take my kids for a wagon ride so that counts I guess. But its only like 3 times a week.I usually get my exercise walking around the mall Wal-mart,ect.Also chasing my kids.LOL.Housework gives you some of a workout .I have steps that when I do laundry I have to go down the stairs to the basement and do my laundry so I climb steps too.I need to get more active though.

Exercise is intentional movement outside of your normal routine... So unless cleaning house is rare, that doesn't count... lol.. Which is unfortunate, cause sometimes it can feel like a real workout. Wagon rides definately count though.

the most that i can do for an exercise is to walk within the day. i usually have my walk around the village. i do not have enough time to go to the gym. there are times when my husband invites me for a game in badminton. this usually happens every other friday. i exercise to relieve stress and pressure. it is also my bonding time with my husband.
27 Jun 07
i do some exercise every day i like dancing and some sports and swimming. i find it helps me with stress or to feel refreshed and also to generally feel fitter when i do more exercise i feel more alive and energetic. sometimes i do exercise on my own but also go in groups like with classes and rollerblading i think exercising and making it more social is more fun than doing it on your own which can be hard

I hear that. I used to dance to the Grind all the time when they had it on VH1 every morning. I'd stay up watching Insomniac Music Theater, then go right into dancing. lol.. It was funny. Doing it on your own isn't always as fun. Now for stuff like walks and bike rides, I like doing that on my own. I can go where I want and truely enjoy my time in nature. When you have someone with you, they usually complain about something or just don't know how to enjoy the outdoors when doing those types of exercises... Now for other stuff, yes, exercise buddies are perfect...
