what are the popular snack foods from where you come from?
i live in canada and we eat potato chips (or as the English say 'crisps' but i was talking to a missionary that is stationed in Japan and we were discussing snack foods...
well there, snacks are quite a bit different...they eat a lot of fish flavoured things (maybe thats why they are so thin??!!
how about where you live?

other snack foods you can always see in the Philippines are banana fritters or fondly called banana-que; sweet potato fries; quiche or called Empanada; siopao; meatloaf and halo-halo, a cold type of snack foods with crushed ice, sweet beans, fesh fruit chunks, ice cream, corn flakes and even with egg custard commonly LECHE FLAN.

I'm in the Philippines and the most popular snack here is "wekwek," I know it sounds weird and dirty but it's really delicious. It's a hard boiled egg coated in floor, fried and dipped in sweet and sour sauce. I think every block in the city sells this kind of snack..
