Personally to me cash is better and safer except to carry around. I dont thinnk credit cards are exactly safe with all the hackers and so. For me its cash or nothing!

I hate using my credit cards. I much prefer using cash. It helps curtail my spending and it alleviates me from having a huge monthly credit card bill. Cash is also safer. If it's stolen, it's the only thing that's gone, but stolen credit cards can create a whole mess which could take a lot of time trying to clear up.

I tend to rely heavily on cash rather than by credit in my purchases...this is my principle in the use of money. Only purchase something on credit under two conditions: one, the item is an extreme necessity; two, I cannot afford to pay it in cash. But in doing so, it should be within our budget (my son also chips in with the bills). Like we purchased a two-door ref on installment, but saw to it that we could really afford the monthly payments. Otherwise, all the rest of our purchases are in cash. If we could not afford it, we better forego it until the time that we could affort that thing in cash....

Credit cards are becoming a burden to our society because of the tendency to abuse its power. Instead of giving convenience, once it is abused it becomes a big burden to carry around. If the purpose of getting the card is not to carry cash for safety reason, it is always advised to use debit card instead.

yeah ... csah is better u can sy... but for the nation which is better.. all the illicit black money hoardings that rich ppl do... all the ubder value buyings.., all the non paid taxes can be prevented ppl... only when there s proof that money exists(hope u get what i mean)and the credit card can be a good proof for it... so for a country's finance transactions thro credit cards is the best!!

I prefer to use cash as opposed to credit cards, because I don't believe in spending someone else's money. Today I opened an American bank account here in Arizona, and they are going to send me a Visa Check Card. I like that idea, because it will mean the convenience of a credit card, the safety of my own money, and no feeds, that pre-paid cards often have.

many Credit Cards - cards/Cash
Cash in my opinion is much better. I have lost more due to credit cards than cash. I tend to spend less money when i have cash on hand instead of credit cards.

Scenario #1: You get mugged, you have cash. Mugger takes cash. You have no recourse to recover cash. Scenario #2: You get mugged, have credit cards. Call credit card company, get new cards, and not held liable for any charges. You lose no money. Even with hackers, there are many protections out there so that you do not have to pay for items that you did not charge. I've had some experience with it-- it does require some vigilance, but it is actually more secure.
