No fantasy football for me- I can't seem to get the hang of it- I should put more effort into it and play-
I can't wait for the new season- I can't wait to see what the Steelers come out looking like- with a new coach and some new key players- We'll see- I hope we come out red hot!
I love football season but that means the end of summer- and I'm not ready for that yet.

I usually play in a few (maybe 3) public leagues for free where I can play and have a fun time, but there is the one league. A 12 team league made up of some of my old college buddies. Last year, we each put in $25 bucks and the winner took home $200 while the 2nd place took $50 with the other $50 going to the commissioner for a admin fee. This year, we're upping the buy-in to $30 cause we've all got cush professional jobs and the winner will walk away with a cool $250 while 2nd still gets $50. It's hardcore with us. I won two years ago but sat out last season to play for fun in a work league... but no more Mr. Nice Guy. I can't wait either, I just can't wait for draft day.

I hear ya. I play in a league my father runs for a $25 buy in 8-10 teams and then I run a team with a $20 buy in for my colleges buddies. I have played for several years and I never can seem to win. I always loose in the playoffs but I still have a good time playing. Good luck to you this year.

How can you play in two leagues? Don't you find yourself in a position where if a player does well you will win in one league and lose in the other? That would drive me crazy. I stick with one league that I have been in for about 6 years. We keep our entire roster and only draft to replace guys on our current roster. I am a little thin at running back this year and probably won't get one of the good rookies in the draft. I'm thinking of grabbing Michael Bush - any other sleepers out there?
