My first job was working for my cousin. He owned a consession buisness with carnivals and things. I had a lot of fun and got paid. I loved that job. I got to make cotton cany, elephant ears, snow cones and all that stuff. Almost every weekend I was at a carnival somewhere. It was always close to home because he wasn't the traveling carne type. I think he only paid me 5 dollars an hour but heck I wasn't even 16 yet and he was letting me work for him. What was your very first job? did you love it like me or did you hate it? talk to me!

My first job was a cashier in Sears. I loved it. I've learned a lot through it. Actually, before that, I had jobs that I consider not serious because, I didn't continue it. I was so young before and never thought that getting a job was very important. Okay, moving on, I think it was nice that you had a job and worked for your cousin. Bravo!

Well my first job was babysitting for my sister one day, but I'm not gonna count that hehe.
Then I got a job babysitting for my neighbors and taking care of stuff around their house while they were at work. I got 7 dollars and hour so I'll count that as my first job. I loved it! The kids are great, very cute and cooperative. And my neighbors are very nice people so I liked working for them. I just had to stop because I was going to be gone almost the full summer and they had to hire someone else.
After that I got a job at Kohls...I hated it. I did not like working there. I didn't like one of the supervisers and I didn't like how they handled some things for me. I hated it!

My first job was waitressing for a pizza joint that my parents knew the owner of. I think it was a positive experience. I learned a lot. My son just got his first job at 15 at a manufactering plant and I am very proud of him.

I worked online for my first job. I haven't finished school yet that time but a professor of mine introduced me to some fellow abroad.
My job was creating sms questionnaires, it was for a game being developed by the company consisting of trivial questions and multiple choice. It was challenging since I had to limit my question to 120 characters. It was fun and the pay was great. Though it was a pressured job and the boss has an eye for quality and perfection, it was a great first-job.
I wish I'd have something like that all over again.

My first job was as a computer operator. I learned so many things, both workwise as well as how to behave in the professional environment. My salary was low, but i was not bothered about that at that time

My first job was awful! It was summertime, and I needed money to pay the rent because i had just moved out. I went job hunting, but it had to be local because I don't have a car. There were no jobs anywhere, and at the end of a long day, I came across a clothes shop with 'staff wanted' in the window. I was so desperate that I took the job... even though it was terrible. They paid me less than minimum wage, for selling cheap nasty clothes - once side of the shop was filled with horrible clubbing clothes, which weren't worth half the price we were asking for them, and the other side of the shop was full of frumpy old women's clothes, which not even my gran would have been seen in! And at the end of it all, I was laid off with no notice because one owner of the shop was annoyed that I had been hired just as a summer worker, when apparently he told the other guy to hire someone permanent! How is that my fault??
I think we've all had jobs that were rubbish, but we all need money to live, so it's got to be done! :o)

my first job..i was a business analyst. i quite loved it because i got to learn many things. the only downside was that the company i was in at that time wasn't progressing at all and there were so many problems occurring and some of the projects were put on hold or the status was unknown, so i decided to leave..still keeping in touch with some of my colleagues there though ;)

I got my first job at the age of 14, it was as a cashier for a video rental. I loved my first job because I could watch all the cool movies I wanted for free and get paid doing it...lol....I stared aout with $1.50 an hor and ended with $2.25 and hour. Although it doesn't seem like much, at the time it was better than staying home doing nothing. Each tme I got paid the first thing I would do is go get me a new pair of jeans! By the time I quit working to go back to school I had a complete wardrobe in my closet:)
