What do you do when suddenly the internet disappears?

I've noticed a lot is addicted and hooked with internet. Internet became a very huge part of our lives.
What if suddenly it all disappears, like some kind of virus takes over or something.
What will happen to you and what will you do?

A few years ago, the whole Eastern side of the United States had this huge black out, if any of you remember that. I was fine without it. We actually played board games and had a big cookout and it was so fun. But now I'd probably die. I'm in college and I have internet courses and all that and it's so hard not having the internet and being in college.

I guess life wouldn't be as bad if the internet wasn't around but in cases where your life's event consists primarily on the internet, I guess that's pretty difficult to live without.
Thanks for sharing. I didn't know about the huge black out ~ well, I guess I'm not in the US to know about it anyways. *LOL*

I'll suddenly start living again. Good ole pen and paper that nice pink eraser, rewites and the great red pen of corrections. those were the days.
Getting a letter in the mail with a hand written address is a dream come true, i've been waiting for months. And gosh a phone call just to chat on a line that can go any further then half way across the room. What a thought huh?

I think I will feel very much inconvenient if the internet disappear one day. Because, I used it almost everyday. I used it for email (especially external email which interacts with supplier/customers from other companies and friends), paying bills, online-banking and stock exchange real time information. So, I think I will need time to get used to life without internet. I believe I can still survive it but I had to overcome the inconvenience of lining up for paying bills and execute bank transaction. I need to bother about parking and traffic jam too. So, it's almost like a disaster to me if the interner really 'disappear' one day LoL.

Well I owuldn't be able to go on myLot anymore so I would probably be suffering withdrawel with shakes and such like.
I don't think though the whole internet would just disappear even through a virus or somethign cos i imagine they probably have back up for it since so many businesses rely on it.
I use the internet as well to look up phone numbers, info, cinema times, shop so I would probably have to go back to the old fashioned time consuming way of doing everything which would be monotonious.
Funny how when the internet came out people probably said they couldn't see how they would have any use for it and now it is probably one of the most used things in the world now.

hehehe.. withdrawal syndrome. Indeed, I guess a lot would be suffering from that.
Yeah, well probably it could never happen but just what if? Sometimes when we get too hooked on something we somehow can't think of the possibility of stopping.
Well, this is some sort of 'what if' so as we could be aware how addict we are with the internet.
Thanks for the post though.

I would definitely feel sad, coz i wont have any chance to chat with my friends and of course i would probably miss my mylotters friend. Internet becomes the big part of our lives thats why thinking of lossing it would probably make us sad.
