Playing video games to much

First of all welcome to mylot! I do think your mom is doing you a favor by limiting your video game time. So many kids sit in front of the tv or computer playing video games and they aren't getting the exercise they need. Now in the situation where you are not able to go out and play basketball and you are not able to play your guitar maybe you should find card games to play or crosswords or something like that to do rather than video games. There are so many other things you can do, read for another hour or two. Sorry to hear about the flooding in your area, I know how it feels! :)

Hello lolhoops, what you just said was my greatest problem when i was kid,i still play though ,yes my mother wouldnt let me play video games. I also had the same schedule like you said , so i was also desperate to find an answer like you and unfortunately in those days we didnt have this much access to net , so i asked my uncle , he is my buddy all time fav also.anyways he said "Increase your study time" i said then i will reduce my play time , to that he said "No, now you can play 1 hr and study 1 hr and the rest of the time you kill flies or sleep , but if you increase your studie time to 2 hrs then bhaiya (means brother i.e. my father) will let you play 2 hrs games , so you kan kill flies less and play more " i listened to his words and it worked for me , hope it does gor you also.
