Yes, that is the nature of women. Conscious of everything they do,...well maybe just to make sure that all lookers won't laugh at them.

Of course we wanna hear the truth!
we always ask because we want to know your opinion specially if your the other half. We want to know if you like it or not, impress because we don't want guys to be ashamed of us on how we look. We want you to be proud of us. =D

Well every woman would probably tell you that she wants to hear the truth no matter what. But a lot of women would rather you just say they look good even if they don't. I'm a woman, I should know! lol

Some women actually prefer to hear the truth because they know it themselves and they just need reassurance from someone else.
My tip is... don't tell her the WHOLE truth. If she asks you if she looks fat, tell her that she'd look better in the other pair you saw or she tried on.
