Where I live you can't smoke in ANY public building. Except for the bars and they are even trying to outlaw it there. That would be hard. Whn I'm out with friends having a drink I have to have a smoke.

oh - no I don't think it should be banned. You hardly see ppl smoking in the movies anymore anyway.

Yes it does!
Here in India there is alot of debate going on abt this thing. Those who want get it banned say tht if children see their fav actors smoking on screen then there is a greater risk of them taking to smoking too just too imitate the actors.

The best way of stopping it is to resist where it is been smoked or never to move aroubnd with people that smoke.

never thought of that. I guess ur right there should be a warning but shouldnt be banned. Hell people some and its not illegal yet and I hope it doesnt become illegal

It's been going on in movies ever since movies began. Sometimes it is important for the character, especially if the character is a historic figure famous for smoking. However, I don't think it should be used unnecessarily, and especially not in anything aimed at children.
