actually I am running some web sites in a free host, it is called byethost7.com , I think it a good free hosting and it is very stable, I have used a lot of free hosting services and they block ip from countries of south America, I guess they block a lot of countries, and I have found that byethost7.com is really good, there only a problem with the safe mode in the server, it is set up to safe server and it make that installation of packages like moodle hard but it is able to run, so if you need for a normal web site it is great, because it have a php version 5.2.3 and mysql version 5.0.4.1 installed, it is great in a free host, in that other free host server that I have tried they have old versions of php and mysql, and they give you a free sub domain name with include a .com but it must include the word, totalh.com I mean if you can set up a free subdomain, it is like, there is some other sub domain so don't worry.
