There are so many different social online bookmarketing sites and I wonder why you are using those and what are the benefits of using them? Do you bookmarket your own website or blog content to those social bookmarketing sites too? I recently use http://del.icio.us & digg.com but still, I haven't really figure out how exactly they work.
What are the ones you are using? What are you experiences with them?

I post this because I share your ignorance and would really like to get more information about the how, why and what for of these sites. Hope somebody will do us the favour and tell us, for example, how this could benefit to make my blog more popular! http://www.squidoo.com/turkana and www.squidoo.com/historyfrombelow (I'm not finished with it!). Thank you so much for bringing up this point. :)

submit your blog or website to onlywire then register also to all the social bookmarks .so if you send your articles to only wire, it will autmatically go to all the other social bookmarks.it also functions like your favorites in your search engines but the thing is you can access your favs even if you are not using your own pc.

Social bookmarking is that users save their favorite site or blog to a publicly accessible website like Technorati or del.icio.us or diggs rather than saving a bookmark for their favorite web page or blog in a browser in your PC.
You can access your favorite sites even if you are not using your PC.
But one advantage you can get if you are a site or blog owner and others will bookmark your site online, is the potential exposure it can get.
You can find more info about social bookmarking here:
