I collect bells - all shapes and sizes. I've been collecting them for over 30 years and have at last count over 300 total. Afraid they are all still packed away currently.

LOL - I have one, a cow bell that is. My largest and one of the most precious is a bell my #2 son made in high school - the class went to a metal shop and they got to program the machinery to make what they had designed. He then went to the woodworking shop at school and made a wood holder for it. It stands over a foot tall but they had to present their projects to the school board and he hadn't finished so the 'clanker' inside the bell is a socket 'browed' from the school work shop :)

I don't collect anything unique. I was once told off by a friend when I started collecting antiques that unknown spirits might lurk around these ancient items. I'm sort of put off by this idea and stop there. It might hold true.

I collect crystals. I first started off collecting crystal bracelets and wear them everyday. Now I even collect those things which are made of crystals to put in my place. I just bought two mini purple crystals caves and they look amazing sitting at my place. I think I love crystals so much that I would keep adding onto the collection. I can't resist for more! But sometimes some of them are quite expensive and it's really hard to possess them all.

Cystals do look amazing, especially when the suns rays are shining through them, when they're hanging in the window... Thanks for your comment...

Mine is a refrigerator magnets that we use to hold small notes and utility bills. I just started collecting it whenI noticed that is one the most common gift items available in any place I visited, especially the resorts. It could also be a handy give-away or presents when you went out on holidays.

I collect only postcards. I have a big box full of them. Sometimes I open it and look at every single postcard. Sometimes I also think that I should throw away all the content of the box because my room it's not big and I need more space but then I can't find the courage of doing this.

I collect books and pottery. I am not one who keeps every book I get my hands on. I collect only the ones that have special meaning to me, or that I enjoy revisiting to read snipits from now and then. I enjoy shopping for first edition copies and old collectors item books. As for my pottery, I collect mostly bowls and jars. I like to know the artist of the pots I collect. I use most of my collection on a regular basis by rotating them through my house.

picture - I love to collect Strawberry Shortcake items!
I collect Strawberry Shortcake items, not for me though, it’s for my two girls ages 5 and 1 ½. It first started when someone gave a strawberry shortcake blanket as a gift, since then I have began to collect it. I love it though, it is real pretty and girlish! If course, I don’t let my girls play with them, I place them in on a shelf in their room and hope and pray that they don’t mess with it!...lol.. I collect everything from pins, spoons, cups, blankets, hand bags, school bags, bearch bags, pillows, toys, stickers ect. We already have about 35 items all together. I would live to get most strawberry shortcake items new, but unfortunately we can’t afford it. So then I get most all the stuff we collect at garage sales or thrift stores. I just make sure that they are clean and sill in great condition!
