Have you heard of working as volunteer teachers?Or have you attended the activity to work in a poor area as a volunteer teacher? Now,I'm a member of an association of this kind in our university.Our association was founded last year and needs developing now.I work in the propaganda department.Oftentimes,we will think about how to introduce it to the society.I know there are lots of ways to make it known,but I dont think we will use all of them to do this job.We have to choose the most effective method. Last evening all of participants discussed how to develop this association.Is propaganda the most important thing?The organizers are searching for various kinds of media.Yes,to some extent,it is a very necessary part.But,then,in what aspect can we move forward?We are still looking for the answer. In addition,I find there is a paradox.On the one hand,college students,like us,always want to do some work to enrich themselves.But,when they are working as volunteer teachers,what do they really bring to the children in the poor area?The world outside the mountain?Or the idea about their future?Sometimes they just bring the local governments and schools a lot of trouble.Besides,there is still a long way to go.Some people don't quite agree with the activity.What is the real meaning of this activity? Enthusiasm is not enough,we have to calm down and thing about what we really can do. And what's your opinion about this activity?Can you give me some advice on how to develop our association?
