I want a star too - how can i get one? What does it mean?

Other mylot members have star displayed just beside their username with a number written on it. What does that mean? How can i have a star too?
For those who have taught me a lot of things about mylot, thank you =). It makes me feel welcome and part of the mylot family.

hi krizcruzado. welcome to mylot.
based from the FAQs of mylot, the star appears only when you have reached 100 posts. you can do this by posting more discussions and respond to many discussions as much as you can.

hi there kriz. i just got my first star today. a yellow star with 8 rating. i learned that you have to reach a minimum of 100 post to get a star and a rating inside it. number inside it represents the rating you get whenever you post and comment on a discussion. try to post and respond to discussion and in a short time you'll surely get a star too. Post quality discussions and you'll get a high rating. who knows, your first star maybe a blue star. :-)

oh great! so stars are color-coded too? Yeah i saw red stars from other users - so that must be for the pro? I don't know...
What does the number 110 in close/open parenthesis mean? Is that the number of responses u have posted from where u were given a star?

Hy krizcruzado. I will tell you now how it works with your star rating. Will will gain it after you respond to ver 100 posts. This star rating helps you gain reputation here at mylot. My advice respond to posts more than 3 lines and inteligent. That's how I did it ! Good luck ;)

Wow...good for you I noticed you got your star...and a blue one..with a 97/100 reputation. Good for you...you are doing a lot right!
