Courtship or dating are usually initiated by a man to a woman. What can you say about a girl or woman giving the first move to get into a relationship? Guys out there is it a turn off if girls do the first move? For the girls,, would you dare to make the move?
Happy posting!!

As a shy guy it has never been easy for me to ask a girl out and, also, for the same reason I don't pick-up on it very quickly when a girl is flirting or inviting me to initiate something. So I am very happy for a girl to do the asking or to initiate things.

I have gone through phases of less and more shy. So I have initiated things but it is hard for me. When I was in graduate school several times I initiated dating a girl. One example was a very beautiful woman I had seen a couple of times having breakfast alone in a cafe across the street from the campus, so one day I asked if I could join her and we ended up dating for several months; in fact it was I who eventually broke up with her and it took three tries to do it since she talked me into taking her back the first two.

I'm a girl, but i don't know if i can make the first move. I may give hints that the guy is ok with me but thats just it. Its not on my nerves, but i do envy those girls who can do it, i envy their guts. It means they know what they want and they don't just give up without a fight.
