Sport is a high sounding words but I have not seen anything to show that people in this age of rapid economic development , are really serious about sports rather than their economic activities.
They consider it as a futile activity for wasting time and energy. Even most of parents doesn't allow their children to take sports as their professions.
Is your parents allow you to take sports as a profession?
Can you think about sports as a goal for your life?

My parents always supported my siblings and I in our sporting profession as we were right into playing basketball and netball. I just wish I had the stamina to keep on going as I think all of us would have gone further if we were committed to it. Of course education has always been the #1 thing they always encouraged us to keep going with but in the end they still supported us in whatever we chose to do whether it be school or sports or take up full time work!

it is good to hear that your parents are supportive but what about you ?
you don't have interest in sports. Suppose if you had interest in sports than then what happen. It is not the question of boy or girl.
