love marriage vs arrange marriage

present scenario suggests people for getting love marriage...what do you say

I'm actually very glad that I am not being set up for an arranged marriage, simply because my parents are pretty messed up. (Even have papers to prove it on one of them.)
It's nice to have the freedom to pick, though I can see the advantage in some situations of having something pre-arranged.
