I think that if we are talking about "famous" inspiring person that would be OPRAH WINFREY. I know many people have different opinions about her but there is one thing for sure, that she is a woman who managed to change her life completely from nearly zero to hero. She wasnt from a rich family nor she was a famous person when she was young, but today she is one of the most powerful and richest people on Earth with money around 1.5 Billion dollars. Now that is what i call - inspiring.
