My son loves horses...

I have a 2 year old son who loves horses, in fact he loves animals especially those that can be found in a farm.
He loves watching movies with horses, he's got lots of toy horses and ponies and even zebras. His favorite cartoon is Spirit Stallion of Cimaron. Sometimes I want to buy him a real horse but it's impossible cause we live in the city.

That's something a boy growing up in the city but likes horses instead of techie stuff. Visit some country side and let him ride a real horse. Try to visit tagaytay they have horses there for rent, its just near manila. That's one interesting boy for me.

Last year we went to Baguio. It was the first time he saw a real horse. We asked him if he want to ride. At first he was afraid but when he saw other people riding it he wanted it too. My wife and I chose a pony. Me and my so rode for only 15 min. When our time is up, he doesn't want to come down. The owner of the horse said he'll let my son ride his horse for another 5 minutes for free but only him. He said it's because its time for his pony to rest and it has taken many riders that day.
So he just guided the pony with my son and after 5 minutes, he brought the two back. I'll never forget the smile my son had. I was so thankful to that pony and his owner.

Isn't it amazing how they can develop such strong likes and dislikes and show their personalities at such a young age. I have a 2 year old too and he's crazy about Thomas the Tank Engine. It's trains, trains and more trains everyday. He also like things like cars, trucks and airplanes. I would love to get him a train table with all the trains and everything but my problem is, we don't have a place for it. Maybe I'll need to re-arrange his room or our living room a little and see if we can fit that in. If so, that is going to be his Christmas gift...assuming he still likes trains then! LOL!!

Awwwwww, that's so sweet! Maybe take him for rides out into the country where he can see horses from the car. When I had my horses here on the farm, people would always park at the side of the road to watch them romping around the field. I don't know where you live, but in the US here there's always the fair you could take him to, and petting zoos (which are often on farms in the country.)

I usually take him to malls for kiddie rides. He likes carousel :-)
