Abortion in Canada

I have been spending a great deal of time lately councelling women who are still suffering from the trauma they were left with from past abortions, I am amazed at how many lives have been torn apart by this, and how little councelling has been out there, Here`s my question, why is it against the law to kill a bat that has made it`s home in your attic, yet we allow children as young s 14 Yrs old to have full acess to abortion, with no follow up councelling. This makes so little sence i feel the inmates run the asylum? Does anyone else see the insanity?

I admire people like you who are helping other people. I hope many people will follow your footsteps. Your query with the bat annihilation is a little bit strange. I know that many animal species are really not allowed to be killed. Law makers who are very much concerned about the welfare of these animals made this law, and it should be followed. However, there are some laws that if not followed will be more beneficial for us. Now, it will be our conscience who will be our judge if we do not abide the law. I do not see the reason why other countries will allow abortion to be legalized. Yet killing bats law breaking. In our country abortion is illegal. And killing bats here are not punishable by law. If you really want to eliminate those bats. You can poison them. Or spray some anti-bats or whatever mode of eliminating, just do not let others know about it. Isn't it that you can call the pest control about bat elimination? This law on bat killing is really insane. I hope that the one who passed this law will be enplagued by bats. lol

Please understand that I am pretty ingnorant in some aspects of this issue. I've only been acquainted with and never close to anyone who has had an abortion. Also, I'm not in Canada. First off, what counselling is available for women who have had an abortion? It seems to be a fact of the new world we live in that we cannot force anyone to do anything, so I can't see counselling being enforced even if mandatory, but I am curious what folks get who want it or request it. Also, what period of counselling do you see as effective in most of the patients you treat? 2) Why can't you kill the bat? Is it an endangered species?
