He is looking on line for Big mens clothes,,He says if it says size 42 then it should fit no matter what...He is 6'5 and weighs 300 lbs. He carries his weight well..Why even make it if it isn't made for all sizes?....There are alot of things that he likes but can't get em in his size..He wears a size 16 EEEE shoe and it is hard to find his size...There should be a stardard sizing method..He is very fustrated..Any ideas!!!!!!I feel his pain...

Well, there isnt a very big market for clothes for people that are 6'5 and 300 pounds. Companies aim at smaller people because there is always a good market. The bigger you are, the harder it is because there are less people like you, and therefore less demand, and so the market has a smaller supply.

I forgot to say look for a store that is only for people who need big sizes. My friend is around 6'6 or so, and he goes shopping for clothes only every once in a while. He goes to a store that is far away, but has clothes that fit him. Just make the trip every once in a while and buy a lot.

He can go pretty much into any store and buy right off the rack and it fits him good..He feels he should beable to walk into the store that has his size and beable to buy it without trying it on because it is the size he needs. But unfortunately different manufacturers don't always have the same fit...Even if it says 3X. A 3X should be a 3X no matter what...Actually he can wear an XL and it fits..He just likes the 3X because it is oversized and comfy...thank you

Maybe you should suscribe to haveing his cloths custom made. Normal shops only carry husky, which is different from your son. For sizes in shops that go up to huskey, the are the same size going up and down. But I think that you should have your cloths custom made so that the chest is slightly bigger than the bottem.

Standard sizing...how I wish! I hate shopping in stores would much prefer to order things online or through a catalog but I can never trust sizes. I recently mail ordered two pairs of jeans both the same brand name just 2 different colors in the same size. One pair was visibly bigger than the other! What is up with that? These were in mens sizes ie: waist sizes by the inch...how can 30 inches vary from one pair to another? I understand your sons' frustration. Good luck to him.

That is exactly what he is frustrated with. Two identical things and one is bigger than the other..30 inches is 30 inches, right? He will be happy to know that he is not the only one that feels this way...thank you
