My husband and I have been married for 9 yrs. I feel that we still love each other, but we seem to argue and irritate each other most of the time. We are seeking marriage counseling to try and make it better. Do you think counseling really works?

you know it is believed that you must never get the third person into your relationship. what i'm trying to say is that if you still feel that you love each other than give yourselves sometime. its just that after being in a relationship for long we start expecting more of each other. its obvious to have arguments as with time our responsibilties are also increased, so its just we need a bit more co-operation. think of the good times you had and what made those moments special. and fill your relationship with an all new romance!

Thanks for your response! We are trying to talk things out but we are both equally stubborn when we feel we are right in a situation. We are starting a date night, which is long over due. Hopefully this will remind us of why we got together to begin with.
