For what purpose you bought your computer????

I never bought computer ever.This computer owned by my boss.She bought this so i can do my paper works.Especially in excel where i can type and print the financial statements of our clients.But since she connect internet on this computer,i usually do some emails and online research here for our clients needs.And at the same time,joining mylot to respond and start my discussions...Lolz...

When my this computer doesn't work and has some hardware problems, then I will consider to buy a new one. Although nowadays the computer is quite less expensive than before, but I don't want to waste my money and I want to do something for the environment. My computer at home works well, maybe it's a little bit slow today. If I decide to buy a new computer, at least I have to give this computer to someone else. I don't want to throw it as a trash. It's just too waste.

I didn't buy computer. I hired the computer. There are lot of advantages in hiring computer. I hired computer to earn money from internet. I spend about Rs.3000 per month for the hire of computer, internet connection and energy charges. I earn about six to seven hundred dollars a month. Nice returns.

I was told that I need a homepage for my business and an email address. So I got a webmaster who built a fancy homepage and a computer so I could communicate with my customers an collegues via internet. I also do some bookkeeping with it. My computer is for business purposes. Surfing or participating here at mylot is just for fun in my spare time.

Hello Coolgeth, Please don't laugh at me, okay! I am going to tell you my reason for buying a computer 5 years ago. I was window shopping at a shopping mall and went from one end to another end, from one level to another level until I reached a computer shop. I saw this desktop and was amazed with the features (in fact I don't know anything technically about computer!) like those big gigabytes, cd burner, bigger monitor and blah blah blah... (sound very stupid to me now!) that I bought the computer on the spot by swiping my plastic card! Well, as you can see now...there is no concrete reason for me to buy the desktop and mind you, I was cheated too. They didn't install the MS Office and MS XP for me! Oh, your topic made me think of it and get a bit angry now ! LOL.

i got my first computer about 9 years ago. i d bought for studies (to go through encyclopedias to help with my school work) and entertainment purpose only. it was not until after a year that i had started to use to the internet and that because my brother had shifted to canada. I bought a new and a faster computer a couple of years ago cuz i spent most of my time on computer now and felt the need for a faster machine. now that i m a university student, the internet helps me a lot with my studies. plus i need it for my computer programming assignments. and im also alot into net surfing and gaming now.

I bought my computer initially to help in my studies esp. computer courses that i had joined. It is quite helpful as you can practise what you leared at home. Now i use it for entertainment, to surf the net to find more informationr egarding work, to make few bucks like on mylot where i have a blast, and also to chat and make new friends and connect with old friends. well when i buy pc so i never thought that pc can give me everything now i live for it but when buy so i was excited to do chat and games but now i live for it and can't live without it anymore ..

I bought my computer to get out of the 'stone age' LOL, and be able to be like 'normal folk' as just about everyone has a computer nowadays. That was 5 years ago. Now I use it to keep in touch with family and friends as well as surf the net and of course mylot!

I have never bought a computer system cos I can't afford it, I only make use of computer where I work (cyber cafe). Have a nice day.

While I was in school I used it for school work. But now since I'm out of school I use it for work and to keep in contact with friends and family.

We bought new pc for educational purposes,for internet of couse to be in touch with old freinds...But study is not main motive rather i would say that we are not using much for study purposes...

well i hd brought my computer to start online trading 6 mnths back. but thn i ended up doing tht jus few dys back. my bottom line of gttign computer was to earn some extra money.

for everyting.. to do my works, searching information, downloading, playing games, wath movie, to communicate via e-mail, ym... wow! computer nowadays is really2 important.. i think all the household hav their own computer at least one

My first computer was for the kids to do research and for us to access the internet. I also purchase another computer for my part time business.

We bought this lap top purely for entertainment, whenour last one broke down. Well, not purely: we use it for letters for public offices and stuff like that as well.

I bought this computer for my son for his studies. Now he is already working and I inherited it for entertainment purposes.

I bought mine just for fun, but now I do alot of things online to bring in some extra money since I am a sahm. We also bought one for our 2 older boys to share so they stay off of mine and they use theres for online games and occasionally for study.

I brought for many reasons for earning online, for gamming, for email and entertainment. Many people are now buying for many other reasons like work, projects, education,etc.

i assembled my own computer..usefull n a lot of things..studies(video turorials),research projects,business use,entertainment others...just dont abuse it...
