As A muslim I remember being taught in school that jews will all go to hell and that they our our enemy. Now that I am grown up It upsets me that they (teachers) gave/give themselves the rights to violate our thought and belief systems at such an influencial and tender age. Before I married my husband I went out on dates with some Jewish men, unfortunately religion was always their reason for not persuing a relationship with me, one guy left me in a coffee shop where we met for the first date as soon as I said I was a muslim. The country I come from does not permit jews entry to it period and at work my jewish mentor seems to take pleasure from humiliating me. Still I hold no grudges and hope this will all resolve sometime in the next 100000 years? Jewdism and Islam amazingly are the most 2 similar religions out there yet we seem to hate each other with passion. Comments, opinions?? please avoid aggressive remarks and be objective.

I am a muslim too. In our school no body taught us that jews will go to hell. In our school it was taught that any body can go to heaven who believes in God and do good deeds even if he is from other religions. same is written in Quran. Why did your teachers say this?

We should have not capicity in our brain to talk or debate on religious issues. Every religion is sacerdotal. Islam does not teach the hate. It is a religion of love. I dont know why the teachers taught the hate against jews. Holy prophet of Islam is Muhsan e Insaniyat ( well wisher of humanity). Sorry I dont want to start debate in such sensitive religious issue.

When a mullah teaches or preaches hate - he personifies Islam. There is enough evidence of Mollahs, Moftis and Ayatollahs preaching hatred in mosques ranging from the middle east to the UK, from Australia to Afghanistan. I do agree that you should not speak or debate about religious issues if you do not have the capacity in your brains. Let the others who have do! Cheers.

Didn't your teachers give you a reason to hate the Jews? I believe it's all about the Holy land in Israel. In my opinion Jews and Islam will always fight because neither have Christ. I realize Islam sees Christ as a prophet but He is much more than that.

Jews have found themselves at loggerheads with Christians of all descriptions. Subject to pogroms for hundreds of years, they found themselves "on the run" till they found a haven in the USA - and for the last few years in the country that has come to be called Israel. Jews have also been at the receiving end during the period of Islamic ascendancy and growth, though there were notable instances of Jews providing intellectual support and leadership to Islamic regimes. It is only after the formation of the modern state of Israel that they have been able to realistically defend themselves in a militarily. And the hate continues to be preached - in madrasah and kibbutz, by many mullahs and rabbis. A regional conflict has become interwoven into the fabric of muslim life even in countries as far as Indonesia. The Islamic prediliction to bind together their religion and politics is something I consider to be at the root of the problem. After all the Jews are such a small population. In view of the conflict Islamists have found themselves in almost every country they live in - the thinking Muslims have started the Itjihad movement. One day it will touch the lives of the every muslim - who then has the choice of being blindly bigoted or an Itjihadist. Frankly I do not believe that there is a any solutions to this problem unless there is reform in Islam.
