Once I read an article that said some women in other cultures actually shave the fine hair on their upper lips. I could never imagine doing this. First off, I'd nick my face very badly. And, there are so much easier ways to take the hair off one's upper lip if it's a real problem. What about you? Would you ever shave your upper lip?

No way!
I used to bleach the hair on my top lip with Jolene Creme Bleach, but now I use a depilatory like Nair in a sensitive skin formula and that works well. It only takes about 5 minutes, and the regrowth doesn't start for about 2 weeks, even then, it's quite slow.
Shaving it would just be gross, and would make the problem so much worse!

I've used Neet on the upper lip, but haven't had to do so in years. I find that the makeup goes on so much smoother if you get rid of the fine upper lip hair. And, you know it doesn't have to be a lot of hair to be noticeable, either. Especially if it is dark. I think some women experience the dark area on the upper lip after putting makeup foundation over that area, because of the fine hair. Best to get rid of it, if possible. Thanks for the suggestion. I've always loved Nair!

Yeah, I'm always afraid that I will end up looking like some guy, so that's why I don't do it either! Yuck! As if life as a girl isn't hard enough without a big hairy mustache!

I used to be fairly hairy due to having pcos which unbalances the female hormones and can cause infertility but since having a baby I am not so hairy. I found waxing to be really good. As a permanent solution to serious hair I recommend laser but its not that cheap! Worked for me though.
