Did you enjoy high school?

In high school, I was very indifferent. I hated living in my small hometown and seeing the same drama involving slightly different people on a daily basis, and I couldn't wait to get out and give life a try on my own terms.
My boyfriend despised high school. He's a good looking guy, but he was fairly bookish and introverted when he was young, so he got picked on a lot, especially when he was the new kid when he moved there in grade 10.
We went to the same high school, but the stories he relates to me about getting pushed into lockers and people throwing gum into his hair seem vastly different from my experiences where I was well-liked but not necessarily popular (although very good friends with a lot of the popular clique).
What about you? Do you miss high school or are you relieved it's over and done with?

I did enjoy high school very much when I was there from 84-88. I miss it a lot and miss my friends from back then. My life before high school was terrible but high school changed things for the better and started to really enjoy life more. I miss being on sports teams and activities that were held. I went to a private school and learned a lot as well as being active and having friends.

Oh, man, high school was the best time in the world for me. Most of my best friends to this day are either high school or college classmates. There was just something fun about going to school and interacting with people.
I guess you could say I was with the 'popular' people. I was a player on the football team and I pretty much knew about, oh I'd say, about 80% of the school on a name basis at least. I lived in a small town but there were three high schools in the area, two in town and one by the local air force base. I got to know so many different people from all over the country and the world because of that air force base being near our school, too.
I do miss high school, although I am also glad it's over.

I did enjoy high school. I went to a vocational technical high school, where you actually learned a skill, such as comestology to prepare you for working in the real world if you chose not to go to college. I didn't go to college.
So I just stuck with working in the business industry. I sometimes wonder what my classmates chose to do. I've missed some high school reunions.

I am glad its over with. I was not one of the popular or rich kids so I was pretty well ignored as far as being picked on. The thing that save me was the fact that I got such good grades. I was just kind of looked over as the smart kid. I don't think I would go back even if I could. I had a few good memories, but the bad outweighs the good.

I pretty much liked high school in the beginning..once I found out how immature and stupid the boys acted and how catty and stupid the girls would act over them, I started to treat it like a prison sentence..I did my 4 years, got my diploma and moved on..the best thing that came out of high school for me was my current boyfriend..I met him there when he beat up the guy I was with...

I love high school. Actually I loved all my school year, but high school was a very special time for me. I loved the subjects, has incredible teachers and it was a wonderful time.
I think I was quite popular although I didn't pay much attention to it at that time. I just enjoyed having so many friends and being able to mingle with all the different groups even the ones that weren't as popular as all that. But I was accepted by all and fit him with each one.
It helped that I had great teachers - as a rule, although with some exceptions - and that it was easy for me to know when it was ok to goof off and when it was time to really be there and pay attention, that's why I rarely got in trouble although I was a bit of a troublemaker - it was usually a question of timing :)
I was part of the gymnastics team, the drama club, the debating team and the choir and music club. I didn't want to miss anything :)
I was already in university and still visiting my old high school and the teachers that were so important to me. Actually I am still in touch with one or two, specially my last music teacher and the philosophy teacher.

For the most part I enjoyed my high school experience. I had a good small group of friends. We just kind of stuck together and are still friends now 8 years later. I was never really popular or anything like that. I was in band and really enjoyed that. But I am glad I'm not there anymore. It was fun while it lasted but I'm glad it's over.

I was good, although I never liked the work, the study and so on. It was only once I started university that I had realised how much high school meant to me and how much I miss it. Looking back, high school was actually great.

I really enjoy my high school days. Lots of friends for 4 fours, crushes, activities and a lot more.
In our school no one is picking on, maybe light jokes but not to hurt somebody's feelings.
What I missed a lot is that our group will go to classmate's house cook banana, and have some fun.
