Do you hate it when people mess up your My Lot tags? / myLot

Most people don't know this, but the tags you use, determines the Yahoo ads shown on your discussions. And, I'm usually fairly accurate when describing my posts. But, I've found that some people who respond to my discussions find it really funny to retag my discussions with silly words. One person posted "blonde moments" on one of my daily goof-up discussions. Personally I'd call them mommy moments. But whatever! Whenever someone does this, my ads on the posts get messed up. And, noone can find my posts via the My Lot search engine. It drives me nuts! What about you? Does it bother you when someone puts annyoying or misleading tags on your posts? Does it hurt your earnings?

Hi beautyqueen!! Yes it really annoys me..Some people dont know the use of tags..Somedays before i started a disscussion and one myLotter submitted his name as a tag.And found that in all of his responses he enters his name in tags section. I dont think it directly affects my earnings but may be indirectly..But sometimes myLot itself orders the right tags..:)

I don't think people should be allowed to put their name in the tag section. Not only does it defeat the purpose of tags, but is seems a little deceptive to me.

I've noticed things like that one other people's discussions but I don't honestly know if anyone has messed up any of mine. I think it could affect earnings slightly by making a discussion harder to find. If people are using the search option to answer discussions they most likely won't find "yours" if it has been tagged wrong leading to fewer possible responses. But I don't think many people respond that way all the time so it's probably only a loss of one or two responses.

I don't know about this as I have never use mylot search engine to look for discussions. I have to rely so much on my emails for new discussions. I have not ventured to many of the facilities here yet. Thanks for the information.
