I am my fathers caregiver as my job now. Since he moved in he pays me what I was making working part time at McDonalds. So I get half my house payment made by him actually which is nice. The money in caregiving is great but you need a heart that doesnt get attatched to others to so it as a profession. I've called around checking into the costs for a caregiver for my father. Just for someone to come bathe him once a week it's a 3 hour minimum visit and varies in cost from $19 an hor all the way up to $25.50 an hour. Unreal. He won't nor would I pay that kind of money. But if my back keeps getting worse like it has been there's no other choice excpet a home maybe and neither of us wished that to happen. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~
