Dogs are man best friend and if your best friend is ill it should be taken to the veterinary. Why should i care about the cost? If it has been a dear one, your child, mother or any other people would not you take him to the doctors? Would you have been worried about the cost or throw him out the house? So why should we raise such question cocerning the health of our doggy?

You're really a great friend to animals, and I appreciate that a lot. But you know, I have seen some mean people, they just threw not only dogs but also their pets out when they got sick. I came and asked why they didn't take them to the veterinary, and, can you guess their answers? It was a shocked one "It's my dog, so I can do whatever I want! Who are you?". What do you think?

Towards the beginning of June we adopted a dog from the local dog pound. The local dog pound didn't have any information about Fred when we adopted him but we made an appointment for Fred to visit the vet that we take our other dogs to the following week to have him given a check up, his shots, and to be neutered. The vet called us to let is know that the surgery went well but he had some serious news for us as well. Apparently Fred failed one of his blood tests. Fred has a parasite in his heart that will kill him. The good news is that it is treatable, the bad news is that it will cost about two hundred dollars. The vet asked what would we like to do. What would we like to do? Of course we will have him treated so that he can live. That's when he told me that not everyone would have the dog treated because they couldn't afford the treatment. I didn't say I could afford the treatment I said to treat him and I will find a way to pay the bill. Fred will be getting treated this week.
You see for my family this question is easy to answer. Our dogs are members of our family and just like if one of us get sick they will get the medical attention that they need. No living creatures deserve to suffer because of lack of money. If you can't afford the medical treatment take the animal to the Humane Society, they will either get the animal treated or they will try to find someone to help.

Cost is not an issue when dealing with the health of my pets or anyones pets for that matter. I would never leave my animals on the side of the road. I love them too much, they need and depend on me. What kind of human being leaves their pet to die on the road? They are my children, seeing their little faces makes my day. I would sacrifice all I have for the safety and well being of my dogs.

Cost of treatment is something that you worry about when the bill comes. I would do all I could for all my pets. I just got the vet bill for my horse the other day and nearly passed out! But I couldnt be without him ;)
