when they do not do something you ask them - you make them afaid by telling scary story of what will happen if they do not do it?

I NEVER lie to my daughter about ANYTHING. If she asks me a question, I just answer her in an age-appropriate way. My daughter is very curious and asks many questions. If I don't answer her, she becomes even more curious. I am better off giving her a small amount of info than lying to her. I hate lying and what sort of example would I be setting if I lied to her?
She probably knows way too much than she should at her age, but I would prefer that she heard the truth from me than some crap, made-up story that she's heard from elsewhere.
Anyway, that's the way I do it, and every parent has their own parenting style.

No,definetly not and i think your are perfectly fare with your act with the kids, even i does the same in certain situations which i cant help rather than lie or frightening them,i think it is natural to every kid and every parent in this world.
