Last time I checked, my posts are 202. That's the number inside the parenthesis of my name. However, it went down to 199 today. What's that? Do mylot remove post or is there an error somewhere and they recounted? Any body else encountered this thing with their my lot posts?

It is only my guessing. Probably you have responded to some posts which were later deleted. When mylot deletes a post, all the responses also automatically gets deleted. This could have happned due to violation of rule by the person who introduced the discussion topic. You have to consider it as wastates.

when somebody posted some discusion which violated the mylot rule then they will delete the thread ..if you replied in such thread then it will also be deleted so that only your post count is back ... dont worry its normal in here ... i too got my posts deleted ...but i already got the benefits out of the posts

Yes, mylot does delete some unwanted and the discussions that violate their terms and conditions. You might have replied to such posts and hence naturally your message count will decrease because of that. So, when you are posting or replying try to make sure you are posting or replying to those legit discussions which do not violate their terms and conditions.

Maybe some of your discussions/posts violated myLot rules so they were deleted. thus, bringing down your number of posts.

often, the number of our posts decrease because of deleted posts. posts that get deleted can be your discussion if it has violated the mylot guidelines.
or it can be the discussion of another mylot user whom you responded to. when their discussion gets deleted, your response to that discussion gets deleted too.
or it can be that a mylot user or a friend in your list gets suspended, and his account deactivated. if this happens, all his posts gets deleted. so if you respond to his discussions, the number of your posts gets affected as well.
or, as a result of double posting... one of the posts will be deleted. do you see sometimes there are two very similar posts from the same user? sometimes this happens in a computer glitch or even a mylot error.
hope some of this would be of help. :)

maybe you have violated some of mylot rules the reason your points were deducted.
