i love "when i'm thinking about you" and their version of "i'll be over you". i think the voice of their lead singer is one of the most crystal-clear i have ever heard.
as much as i love this band, though, i know so little about them. it's no wonder; they haven't gone mainstream yet and i love them for it.
does anybody have any info about this band? and what is your favorite song by the sundays?

Hi Patricia!
They are a great band and I love that song as well as homeward, and monochrome. I tried out another one of their albums but didn't like it. So as of right now, I only have Static and Silence. One thing I did hear is that Harriet is married to David Gavurin and they have a little girl (but she might not be little anymore). That is all I know and they are british in case you didn't know.
Great question.
Take care
Lucia

My favorite song by the Sundays will always be "Here's Where the Story Ends." That melancholy quality just gets me every time. I also love "Kicked a Boy", and "Blood on My Hands."
As far as info about them, I know the lead singer is Harriet Wheeler. Yes, her voice is amazingly clear and almost angelic. I think she had a baby around the time "Static and Silence" was released, and that may be why not much has been heard from them since. Just a guess:)

I love their song, "Here's Where the Story Ends" It reminds me of the old times when life was simpler and better!
