Do you think Beuty and intelligency can not be together?

Beauty of the type you mean cannot usually be acheived. It is a gift from birth. Intelligence is different, some people are naturally very intelligent and some people are naturally ignorant, but most people can learn to be intelligent. I think that people aren't usually both because good looking people can get by on their looks and don;t need intelligence, whereas plainer people have to work harder and be smarter to succeed, so they become more intelligent. There is no reason why beautiful people shouldn't be clever, but let us pity the poor few who are born both ugly and ignorant!

i think those who know the value of intelligence will find the inner beauty, the beauty of a person as a whole. abt the co-existence of physical beauty and inner beauty, i am not too sure yet coz i haven't found any yet.

Thats a very hard question to answer because what one person sees as beautiful another may not. I do think there can be intelligence and beauty like the lady who started Mary Kay Cosmetics. Some say she was a very beautiful person and she was also a very intelligent one.

There are some who are blessed with both beauty and brain to boot. But for us ordinary people we have to contend with what we have already. I mean we just have to cultivate the things or traits we have rather than concentrate on those we don't have. Beauty and intelligence naturally are the best things to have in this world. Sadly, majority of us never have both at the same time and worse a lot of people are neither brainy nor beautiful.

I think beauty and intelligence and be found both in one person. I have a friend who is the very person of this kind. Everyone who knows her agree that she is a beauty,liked by both boys and girls.Also,she is very capable,being the leader of the debating group of our school,being the No.1-competitor in the speachclass,and also being the chairman of a campus association.She busied on these stuffs but still ia the a-list student in her college and win the scholarship every year.I just can't help enving and admiring her.....She is so excenlent.

Yes, I think these two qualities can co-exist in one person:) I used to believe in the line "dumb blond" when I was a little younger, but through interactions with a lot of people afterwards, I met with a lot of these gifted people who are not only pretty but also were intelligent.
