It is now so common to receive an email supposedly asking for advice from the recepient as to where to invest money. Consider this email I just received: Dear sir,
With deep appreciation of your esteem contact i got from your business
wedsite,i wish to introduce myself to you sir, I am Mr Sani Danjuma
from Iraq, but i am now living in thailand Bangkok ( conditionally)
actually i will like to invest in your company.
Sir I will like to know the procedures of a non-citizen investing in
your company or country, actually after reading through your web-site, I
decided to contact you because i cannot invest in your company\country
without an assistant from someone from your country.
I will like you to advice me on a Business there that i can invest and
the procedures before the investment, why i inquired is because, in
investments, you have to look for a good company and country that the
safety environmental condition of the foriegn investor is quaranteed,
A company or country that is trustworthy with good government, good
management and better economy.Acutully the good profile of your company
increases the volume of your company thus raising evidence that if money
is invested in your company, that the investor is guaranteed of reaping
the good dividends of investments...thanks to the companys management
board thanks very much for taking time to go through my e-mail and i am
also looking forward to read your reply soon so as to detail you on my
investments programme and how much fund that i am intending to invest
and also the area of the business that i would like to invest it after
good negotiation.

The letter is sure to be a scam. I have also received such letters many a times. Even they claim to reward you and send a hefty money in your account and ask for bank account and personal details.
Never give any personal details to them. They just misuse the personal info to make some other scams or fraud. Internet is really now full of scams here and there.

Good advice :)
People really should be more careful on the net, they leave themselves open to all sorts of problems.

The last time i heard about the internet scam was when one of my friend came with big smile that he had won a lottery online of million dollar and that they have also sent him a certificate to house to claim his prize. I laughed at him of his not knowing about these type of scams. I also told him that i used to receive around 10 mails daily similar to this and then only he realized that he had not indeed won any prize.
If i had not warned him of that, i am sure that he would have been scammed easily and he would have sent them money somewhere down the line. With people like him around only, those scam sites are still operating with full gains and cheating innocent people.

We should be careful with these type of emails, they are mostly scams. Remember Nigerian email scam, they steeled millions of $ from innocent victims.
We have to spread awareness against these type of emails and expose their methods.
Thanks for the information.

I always delete emails of this nature, as I find them quite unbelievable. I don't even waste my time reading them through, and my advice to you would be to save your time also.
