Do you respond to a disscussion which got/marked the best response...?

Hi mymytri,If the topic seems interesting to me, even after learning that it has the best response already market, i go on to participate and give my input. In few of the discussions that i started, i didnt get responses after i marked the best response.

I think this is a good discussion, nice one!!! Well i do not care if a discussion allready have marked a best response. I am not here to get best responses on my postings but i am here to post my opinion about diffrent topics. Yes i have commented on peoples responses when they have posted somthing in my discussions. When people take the time to respond to my discussions i feel that i have to show my apresiation by responding. IT do not have to be a long response sometimes i just write thanks or ok or that i agree/disagree. It depends on the topic, how importent it is to me and if i have the time to respond at that moment.

To be honest with you I don't look to see if it has a best response or not , if I am interested and feel I can answer it then I just go ahead and do so , some people give the best responses really quickly and they might only have a few responses anyway . If I get a best response , I always say thank you , it is polite and it is nice to know that someone did actually go back and read their responses , I love to get responses to my discussions and 99% of the time I go back and answer them , I think it is so nice to keep the flow going , after all that is what My Lot is supposed to be about welcome to the site , have fun . A discussion I was interested in really. I do reply to those with best responses , If I have a chain of thought pouring that match the topic , I never care whether it is marked or not. I feel that there can be a better response than the best responses. I have seen some people marking the ' Best response ' to the first response to their discussion. It is because it is the only response it has got. It doesnt mean that the person was satisfied with the response. He was vexed up as he dint get any other response and so he awarded him. What if you post a more sensible reply to the topic you are sure to be marked as the best responses. Now-a-days I have come across people who change their Best responses if they find better responses. People have become conscious of this and so they check their discussions marked if they get new responses. So I dont think you will lose anything if you respond , but you may gain something. WHen this is the situation why not go forward and respond . This is my policy. Good Luck !!! Happy posting !!!

Hello,mymytri,i do not really care whether the best response has been chosen or not when i am replying to discussions,as long as they are interesting to pique my interests and i have something to say on those topics,i will reply to them even the best responses were gone. I am not able to choose the best response for my discussion because of the glitch,but if i have time,i will comment to the replies from the others.

It has never occurred to me to not respond simply because *best response* has already been allocated. If I have something to say, I tend to just say it, regardless. Lol I know that most of us joined this site because of the money, points, ratings, and all that goes with it...but I think after being here, it becomes a little more than that. I just like to participate :)

generally the best response has been given long before i find the discussion, so yes i will still respond. I do wonder why people give it so quickly, one about 15 minits after the discussion was launched, i saw last night. It doesnt really bother me, does anyone know of any advantage of getting best response?

I would still respond to it. I dont really care for the best response. I have also received many responses on mine way after I have marked best respone.

I do not mind replying to a discussion, wherein the 'best response' has already been selected. I just wish to convey my thoughts to the host of the discussion. And most of the time...I find that members do come back to me with their comments on the reply posted by me. When I write any response....I do not think...that it will be rated as 'the best one' because it will entirely depend upon the host to choose. I just write down my throughts sincerely.

yup i still do, especially if the thread is still active and i can see that there will be more response coming from other mylotters. i don't find anything wrong with replying those with best response because i don't just go after the best response. what's important is that i can express what i have in mind and that i can relate to the said topic.

Actually, I have never looked to see if any of the responses to a discussion is marked best response. If I find the discussion interesting and want to add something, I go ahead and respond. Sometimes, I might we a couple of weeks behind but I respond anyway. Sure, it would be nice to have my response marked the best, but that isn't why I respond to a discussion.

Hey. Yes I do respond to discussions wether they've already been marked best response or not, If I know something about the post, if its relevant to me, then yes, I will defintely post up regardless...

I never pay attention to whether or not the best response is marked. If a discussion interests me then I will go ahead and respond to the discussion. As for my discussion getting responses after best response has been marked, I have had some that did and some that didn't. I would have to say that for the most part I do still get responses to the ones that I have marked best response on.

Hi mymytri, I like to give my comment at anytime, it doesn't matter if best response has been given. That just means that when they gave best response, that was the best at that time. It doesn't mean that a better response isn't still out there. So you see, the best response can be floating around in someones head until they see the discussion and lay it out for the person who's discussion it is. That's why I don't really care if best response has been given, and it's not like they're going to pay better because a person has lots of best responses. Peace, Totty

Even if a discussion has already been marked, I will respond to it anyway. I'm not out to try to get the most best responses. I'm here to have fun and meet people and learn new things. So the best response thing is pretty low on my list of priorities here. LOL

i will still respond to it... it also depends if it's an interestong discussion.

I have marked several as a best response, but haven't got any feedback.That's alright though.

As long as the topic is interesting i don't mind who got the best response. I still want to participate and give or share my own thoughts,ideas or opinions about the discussion. Thanks
