For a newbie, i´ts good to begin playing in Warsong Server?

Hello, i´m new in WOW and i want to know if my chances of become great in this game are the same in Warsong as the others servers, like the new servers, i wonder that cuz i think that Warsong is already saturated of characters that have all the strongest ewapons, itens, lots of gold, etc. thank you!
