Hi
We are planning to get a second cat as a friend to our cat. Our cat is a common household cat and not any special breed. Do you have any experiences about
getting a second cat in the house? What you have to take care and what new stuff
you have to get for the cat etc? Especially for Ragdoll cats.

I used to have a ragdoll cat. They for the most part are really friendly and mellow cats. Just be prepared to have to scoop the litter box more often. And maybe buy a few new toys to help welcome the new cat. Ragdolls are pretty easy to take care of. They have long fur but as long as they don't go outside they don't get dirty or matted.

I´ve heard that ragdoll cats are more social cats than usual. Also perhaps more intelligent. Perhaps you cannot leave the litterbox dirty too long.
