I don't think milk from a goat is much different than milk from a cow, they are both barnyard animals. Goats and cows eat pretty much the same thing, so there is no reason, asthetically, why one wouldn't not eat/drink goats milk products, except that you just haven't done so before and are afraid of new things. So why don't you just try it? Especailly in ice cream form! how bad could it be? I think you should try it! Good Luck!

I love green tea ice cream. It's the only dessert I eat whenever we go to the Japanese steakhouse near us. My daughters enjoy it as well, and they usually eat theirs with chopsticks. I didn't realize that was a flavor of ice cream. I'll have to check that out. I haven't been able to master that, yet, so I still eat mine with a spoon.

I have heard that goats milk is closest to Mothers milk? well, i never drank any either but maybe grandpa was right? there is a lot of stuff i won't eat..my wife is from the Philippines and her country eats..balut..a dog egg that is fertilized (chick inside with feathers) and they hard boil it and eat the poor little baby duckling..feathers and all... also they eat a lot of stuff that just makes me ralph if i would think about it..fish eyes and gross stuff ..but if i grew up in the Philippines I probably would do this too..but thank God my wife spent a lot of time in Japan and other places and eats like I do...she even has cut back on so much rice..as she found out for her Philippine docotr in the US that too much RICE is bad for her...so she eats potatoes like me and pasta..but very little rice...but if she does eat rice..its brown rice..that is more healthier...

I have actually tasted the goats milk ice cream in Colchester , UK and let me tell you - the only reason I have the other ice cream now is that there is no choice. As far as goats milk being higher in fat, not true. The difference is the digestibility factor. The molecular structure of goats milk is smaller, (Globules) and so nutrients are easier to absorb and pass through the system. Goats are naturally browsers, but eat grass. If a goat is out loose and it needs certain nutrients - it will bark the tree, to get copper and other vitamins it needs, and worming - well pine needles ! Most of the time we do resort to the chemical wormers. But if a goat was allowe dto find its own food, it would probably do a lot better

Goats milk isn't that popular here where I live, so I haven't seen any around or know anyone who makes that type of ice cream. It must be really rich, though. Goat's milk is way higher in fat than cow's milk.
