Typing speed

well to b honest my typing speed was quiet fast even before joining mylot but now it has become more fast now .also my knowledge is improvong n i m used to new word means it is increasing my vocablury say by day apart fro increasing the speed..isn t dat gud??

Although I took typing in college, I was never very good at it until I got on the internet and joined the chat rooms. I would be chatting in 4-5 chat rooms at one time and my skills improved very quickly! Now I can type fast, but only if I'm thinking while typing. I have a hard time typing something that has been written out first, or if I'm retyping something that has been printed. But I'm still pretty quick at it.

Yes, I think it helps a lot. I'm (and was before joining myLot) quite fast typing but that's because I've been working with computers almost everyday during 10 years or so but still I think it can help people who type a little slower to type fast since this community is all about writing our opinions so we can get to know where the keys we want are on our keyboard, lol.

Even before joining Mylot, my typing skills were really good. So I wont say my Typing skill has been improved after I joined Mylot. But One thing I can say is that, after joining Mylot, my ability to frame sentences in English without thinking a lot, has been improved to a great extent. I have learnt a lot of how to create a good sentence, when I read the other mylotters posts in Mylot. MYlot is a great site, not only for money, friends etc., but also for learning a good English skills too.

20 words/min my maximum speed. Not just mylot other forum sites include like blogger, friendster, myspace, and mails. I used to type slow when I learned the software "Typing Master". It helps and improved my ability to respond as quickly as possible. In fact, there was a rivalry before of my co-classmates way back in High School during our Computer Lab,that who will send us first the encoded email to our Teacher wins a Prize. Although, I did not win but I typed the words perfectly - no errors or wrong spelling or grammar, than my other classmate who finish first sending the email.

Yes, also I take a few cheap CD's on typing tutor and they play games and make the lessons interesting too. Yes, I have improved speed and accuracy but there is no speel check on this forum? In Yahoo! Questions and Answers there is a spell check.. I like to type over writing with a pencil or a pen. Someone ask once why the typewriter was not in alphabetical order. I don't remember the answer but it would be hard to type if the typewriter/keyboard was in alphabetical order? right? sorry if i spell a word wrong..this is not my strong point..lol

My typing speed is very good and I really type very fast.And yes Mylot also play a role in it. Yes I also write as a flow of river and continous in writing without any efforts and much thinking.

off course,i improved with my typing speed.also it help me to improve my english.my english was very bad than now(i am not telling that my english is superb now,but it improved very very much.i enjoy each time i login to mylot.i thing there is something in mylot other than this earning!a kind of addiction!

I wonder if everybody here use the proper keyboarding when they type. I really don't like to see other people typing without proper keyboarding (using all your fingers). For me, this really helps, if you use all your finger in typing, you'll be having a great typing speed. I agree that mylot improves my typing speed, not just that. ~mar

The more you type the faster you will become irrespective of what your typing, If you want to increase your typing speed, Play a song and try to keep up with the words, I started with a slow song, but can now type fast enough to copy conversations as they are happening and fast songs, It takes me about 3 - 4 mins to type a full A$ page

My speed is 20words/min. That is not very good.

I can type fast before i joined mylot.But of course mylot helps me more to increase my speed.And also my english communication and grammar as well.Though its not that perfect but i know that it helps a lot.

I type with two fingers lol and even though I am a bit faster since I do a lot of writing on the forums around the internet.I know I am no where near as fast as some of my dear friends here who can type out at least 100 responses a day without a hitch. If I can get ten or twenty a day at the moment I will be lucky lol. I really liked your friendly comment you dropped into my profile the other day..How do you guys use all that moving imagery? I don't know how to do that lol?

I did an IT GNVQ at the age of 15/16, and this really helped my typing speed. Then when I came to uni it dropped a bit, and now I'm back to my previous speed because of mylot. I type really weirdly, I only use 9 fingers to type - I don't use the 2nd to little finger on my left hand, for some reason! I don't type properly either, I taught myself. x

I can type really fast. I have improved my typing speed 10 years ago when i first get to use with all sort of chatting program like icq, mirc, i was so addicted to chatting program and I have to type speedily to response to other's question quickily so that they won't have to wait for so long for my reply.

SiNCE i HAVE BEEN USiNG MYLOT iT HAS HELPED ME ALOT ON MY TYPiN i USED TO NEVER BE ABLE TO TYPE FAST BUT NOW i AM PRETTY GOOD.

hehehe.. I've start typing when my age 16 now I'm 46. i never go for typing class but I learn my self and the most is I like computer very much, especially internet. After all that years I can use all my fingers on my left hand without seeing it, like a ll my fingers got eyes on it. The most important is I'm improving my english cause in the net all are in english.. that the credit most I've got when I use it.
