I have this buddy that's about 25-30 who in my many years of knowing him never went into the water above his waist. So we went swimming today, Me and about five others just having fun. So we said to em, how come u never go out to the deep end. He said "Why! I hon't need to go that far.." We start laughing and picking at him " You can't swim... Shut up...Prove it" He goes on....Ya I can swim, Bla bla bla...... So after about an hour or less he decides to prove it for a fee of $500 dollars. We laughed and put our money where our mouth was.... He grabs the rope swing, gets a running start swings out about 50 60 yards about 16 feet in the air sideways, We're all laughing, yelling O'sh**..... He smacks the water like a giant stone tossed from a penthouse roof, SPLASH, water flies up and settles and he's not there, The rest of us get ready to jump in to get him, when he pops up! Splashing and kicking like a fish out of water, on some hot tar. We start laughing again, but he's panicking up and down, up and down, we're yelling to him swim mofuka, swim... Then you hear the sound of a watered down voice...HELP!!.....HELP ME!!.... I... I CAN'T...... CAN'T SWIM!!.... HEL...... So a few of us jump in and fish out his exhausted body and water logged clothes. Get him to shore and asked him " If you couldn't swim, why would you do that.." "He say's for five hundred dollars I'll try to prove anything, besides I knew you guy's wouldn't let me drown!" So we paid him 250 for the attempt, and the risk of breaking his neck just to prove a point and win a bet/dare.
