I'd have to say Edward Norton, he's such a diverse actor. He's played roles ranging from a reformed skinhead to a deranged Schizo. Don't get me wrong Brad Pitt is a decent actor, but it seems to me that he is always playing the same character in a different situation. The character he played in 12 Monkeys was basically the same as the one he played in Fight Club.

Was the typo intentional? Bratt instead of Brad?
In answer to your question, depends on the part. I think Norton can play certain types very well. I was pleasantly surprised how well he did in American History X. But I don't see him pulling off the crazy Jeffery What-was-his-name Pitt played in 12 Monkeys, nor do I think he would have made a very convincing vampire in Interview with a Vampire.

No it was by accident, I think I was thinking of the two T's at the end of Pitt while I was typing Brad.

Edward Norton is way better than Brad Pitt cuz i hate Brad Pitt's ego, he got a major self esteem and it seems like he is acting, he is but it shudnt appear like tht , on the other hand Edward Norton plays his character in a great way tht if he is really like tht, he is one of the best actors ever.

Hmm, that's a tough question. They are both very talented actors. I think that Edward Norton has made better decisions on the roles he has accepted such as Rounders, American History X, and the Illusionist compared to some of the wreckless filth that Brad Pitt has been in. However Brad Pitt has shown that he can do many different roles; crazy person, action star, some comedy, love stories. In the end I have to say that Edward Nortor wins the race.

my god.
edward norton, hands down!
edward norton is such a convincing actor.
he draws you in, lets you see it all on his face.
brad pitt just acts,
it seems like he holds himself back,
or maybe just ins't as into it.
though they both did an amazing job in fight club.
both worked perfectly.

I would say Brad Pitt, since I have seen him in more things than I seen Edward in, but as far as range goes I would say Edward has brad beat.

Edward Notron has my vote hands down. He is a very talented actor. He basically has nailed every aspect of acting in his films. He can play an extremely emotional role...like his in 25th hour and the painted veil. He is really in touch with his violent side also. He's probbly one of my favotire actors and i cant think of any movies he has acted in that i didnt enjoy, moreso love.

Edward Norton. Hands down. He is my favorite actor. He can step into any role and completely nail it. It's amazing. I always find his character really human and believable.
He totally eclipsed Brad Pitt in Fight Club in my opinion.
