I love this movie.

I love this movie too, as well as many other of Miyazaki's masterpieces! =) I actually didn't see it as a kid. My husband had watched it as part of a Japanese class he took, and mentioned it to me a few times as something that was very weird. Finally my interest was peaked enough that I just had to see it. I wound up buying it and just love it! There's just so much beauty in the animation, the story, the whimsy! My son has watched the movie already, even though he's just one year old, and it really seemed to hold his attention.

i've only just started watching it today. I haven't finished it yet but so far it looks fun. Actually the kids make housework look fun!

I truely love this film!!! It is crazy and simple...it transports me to my childhood... Miyazaki have a creativity that is great and in every movie he have made he inserts a lot of funny character!!! But also his other movies are beautiful! Don't you think?

This was a cute movie,but it wasn't an epic like I expected.I thought the protagonists would face problems such as loggers or something a little more dramatic than "My mums sick and my sister is missing". Favorite bit was when Totoro uses a leaf as an umbrella and the little girl gives him an umbrella (which I thought was a loan).
