The MV Doulos is the world's oldest active ocean-faring passenger ship. It is now used as a floating bookshop. The ship is manned by a volunteer crew and visits sea ports worldwide. I've been aboard the MV doulos when it visited my country and you can find rare books at an affordable price. Being there is really a great experience.

I heard about it many times when I was very young, Im looking forward to get inside that boat but this year it was away from our city. I will have to wait for them to come in our city again but the question is when and that i still dont know.

it would be quite an experience for you once you get inside the boat, my advice is dont let another chance go by when the boat visits your country because it would take a while before they visit again. They make sure they visit almost every country. thanks for your post!

No, I have not seem the MV Doulos so far yet. I went to see old ships sometimes in Hamburg or at the Baltic sea. They are of great interest to me. Mostly I looked at sailships or battleships. Whenever this motorvessel comes to Germany I would like to look at it. It is a real historic ship.
