What is /was your worst Nightmare ???

There was a particular dream I had when I was younger , it doesn't sound scary but for some reason it terrified me then and still does . I had dreamt about walking down a corridor all in white and for some reason it scared me , I saw a woman all dressed in white and she turned and looked at me at the exact same time my mother woke me up because I was screaming . My mother was wearing a yellow nightgown but because it was dark it looked white and even though I was awake I was terrified because of the face I had seen on the woman . It took my mother a few minutes to calm me down and get me to realize that I had been dreaming and that she was my mother because I was screaming and fighting with her because I was so scared . I was never able to tell her what exactly it was that scared me because it doesn't even sound like a nightmare but even today that dreams still scares me . It took me a long time to get back to sleep that night and I have never had the dream again but I have never forgot the horror I felt when the woman looked at me in the dream yet I can't remember anything about her or her face or why I was so scared .

As I'm a rather unique individual I once had a dream about these large cotton stitches and they were getting bigger and bigger until they were pulsating like some freaky invasion of the body snatchers thing, that I woke up and screamed noooooo!! Tell me am I going mad??

My worst repetitive nightmare was this..that i have been assigned to keep my ex in hell, meaning that I have to go with her and literally hold her down in hell.We are sitting on the edge of this gaping hole with smoke coming out of it, and I am trying to explain to my little girl qhy her mothers going there and what i have to do, and that she'll be alone but ok, omg, its heartwrenching!!

I have one Nightmare that haunts me I do not want to say what it is but it is something that has happened to me when I was little and yes I wake up crying sweating and I want to scream but can't it is horrible when it happens but I have to deal with it I know the Ending I do not need to wonder about the end

I 've had some that I don't want to remember , some that will wake me up and I just don't want to go back to sleep , And then there are some I would like to dream over but usually do'nt , I think I dream more at night when I snack close to bed time ,I seem to have more dreams on them nights.

yes i have and it's always ugly.i could never get back to sleep.but sometimes when i'm just too tired,i'll doze off again.

Well when I was married, I had this reoccuring dream that I was trapped in a burning building and couldn't get out. It would wake me up, and as soon as I went back to sleep it would start again.......... just me trapped in this damned building screaming to get out. Eventually I figured out that it was probably something to do with the fact that I just didn't want to be married - I felt trapped and unhappy in my relationship, I wished I'd nevergot married, and I desparately wanted to "escape". And - you know something - when I eventually left him, from that day to this I have never had that awful dream again!

I have this dream once every few months. I dream a man comes into our house and shots my kids in the living room then comes in my room shoots my husband then as hes shooting me I wake up!!! Most screwed up dream ever!! It scares me so much I cant go back to sleep. I have to go check on the kids lock the door. I dont know what the dream means but it freaks me out!!!

I have this recurring dream of plane crashes. Sometimes, it's me inside the plane and when the plane crashes, i'm the only one who survived. Or sometimes, I witness a plane crash.. or sometimes the plane crashes down on me.. I don't know why i get these dreams. Maybe because I used to work with an airline company. But it gets me jittery whenever i go on a plane now. I used to be okay going on flights.. nowadays, especially when i travel with my son, i've become more nervous and jumpy. These are the dreams that always wake me up from my sleep.. but thankfully, it doesn't come back when i go back to sleep..

I had a dream a long time ago that I was in a hospital waiting room and one by one a door would open and a large toung would come out and eat the members of my family who were waiting with me and there was nothing I could do. That was scary but I blame Goosebumps....
