Are you trying to quit smoking or have to quit? We want to know how you are doing. If you already quit, do you still have the urge to light up? Did you go cold turkey or use the patch? There are so many ways to quit because it seems the same method doesn't work for everyone. What method are you using?

I intend to stop smoking as soon as I get my weight down a little more, and I'm also going to get a new bike, so that I can get out in the fresh air and forget about smoking.
I'm going to use herbs to help me through this, such as white willow bark, which is good for calming the nerves, and also a good aid in the breaking of the habit.
I was going to try both together, but I think that was a bit of a tall order and best to succeed somewhat in one, and get really into it, before undertaking the other, so, the dieting came first, in an attempt to better my health.

Hi darberg!!
I was a great smoker before two weeks but now i quit smoking..Yes it urges me a lot to smoke but i control myself..Many times i stopped smoking for a month while but now i quit smoking..I have not used any patch or anything..Nothing works other than your mind and self control..Think about health..Just start reducing the number..buyit,Burn it and go with only two puffs and waste it..It will take some time to set your mind..Fix a date and tell your friends that you are going to quit smoking..It will really helps..But i am really temped to smoke when i see people smoking..But oh!! ..Take care..Good Luck!!

I have quit smoking three times in my life and found that the same quitting method didn't work each time. I really feel that I will not start back again this time. You have a good way of looking at smoking when the urge arises. I wish you luck and please let us know how you are doing.
