Why is everyone obsessed with MySpace?

Why is everyone obsessed with MySpace?For a long time I refused to have a MySpace even though everyone had one. Now everyone really does have one. Why is this?

Everyone has myspace because of the wide networking. Me for example I have a myspace and have run into friends I haven't talked to in years and on top of that I get to meet interesting people from all walks of life.

You answered your own question, everyone has myspace. I have contacted old friends I lost contact with years ago by using myspace. Its a good way to keep in touch.
