Would you still keep pictures of your EX?

I wanted to, but still I burnt them. Because I didn't want my honey to see them to make her think that I still have my ex in mind. For that reason, they were all burnt. It is a better idea not to keep them in order not to have a quarrel about it.

I don't have a lot of exs but I do keep those who I am still friends with. But I don't keep physical pictures. I scan them all up and save in my photo site. *LOL* That way, no prying jealous eyes would ever get to them without my permission. It's not really for something else, but as a part of the memories I have. I don't want that someday, when I talk about the ex, I wouldn't remember how he looked like. hahaha

I keep it. But I won't carry it by my side any more.

y not.... they are still part of us... with out them we cud not b this strong.... well just to hold on sumthing from the past.....lolz

i once tore it apart, i had it burned or had it squeesh in the water..very torturing but i really hate them :(

yes i still keep pictures of my ex... i keep too her gifts that she gives to me... and a letter... my girlfriend doesn't know that... i need to tell it??

I still have the pictures from my first marriage. I will not toss them out. One day I will make a scrapbook for each of my children and include the pictures of the wedding of me and their father. History is never forgotten and never should be.

The only pictures I've kept of my ex are my prom pictures. That's just something I don't want to part with. I think it's ok to keep pictures of exes as long as they are put away and not on display. I'm ok with my fiance keeping his old pictures since they are put away. Pictures are memories no matter who happens to be in them.

I do have pictures of a few of my ex's. I have thought about getting rid of them. But that is part of my past. Seeing these pictures reminds me of the mistakes I have made and how I am a better person now. So I guess they are a reminder to me. Then one of my ex's I won't get rid of any picturs of him because he is my son's father. I have held on to those pictures because I want to make my son a photo album of his dad. You see is dad is in the Army and we just found out he is headed back to Iraq. My son misses his father dearly and doesn't get to see him that often. Maybe twice a year. So having the pictures helps him cope.

I do have a few pics of my exs. I think it all depends on the person if you should keep them or not. When I was younger I got rid of a lot of good pictures that had a lot of memories with them. I regret it now, but I thought my boyfriend at the time wouldn't like it very much. I wish I still had them, just so I could take a trip down memory lane once in a while. But what can you do about the past, nothing. I still have some of the memories inside myself, and I guess that's all that really matters.

i have it cut,burn or wet in water and throw it away.. :(its torturing but they deserve it :)

I would probably keep pictures of my ex girlfriend only if i had a great relationship with her. If a breakup happens, I would keep them but put them away somewhere safe. It may be painful to look at them after a break up but I would keep pictures of you ex

I personally dont have any pics of my exs, but I dont think its a bad thing. If you ended a relationship but still decided to stay friends, or if you were good friends b4 the romance then I think its crazy to throw out memories. But if your relationships end like mine have in the past then toss them, why keep pictures of someone you wanted out of your life???

The ex-boyfriends and ex-husband I had that I had pictures of, I have kept. They were part of my life and I keep them in albums, not out on a shelf or desk in a picture frame. My ex-husband is actually now my best friend.

I think I do, but I leave those pictures in my parent house. My mom still keep my stuff in one dresser in her room. My mom seem "understand" some stuffs is still memorable for me, and i move a lot last 4 years. LOL ;) still have all my exes there.

I still keep my ex's pic somewhere in my room. I always try to avoid looking at it as it will only make my heart "bleeding" again. I always tell myself to return it back to her but still don't have chance to do that.

sure - I'm still friends with a few of my ex's and I have pics of them. One of them is even the god-father to one of my kids. I'm happily married and not interested in my ex's as anything other than friends, so it doesn't bother my hubby that I've remained friends with them for all these years.

Absolutely! I would never get rid of something just because I wasn't with them anymore. If me and my husband split up I would keep his pictures. You can't wipe out a memory by getting rid of them anyway. In my case if I didn't want them I would save them anyway for my children. Pictures mean a lot to children when they're older.
